Achievements
• We operate under the strategic guidance of Mr. Sanjay Kumar, former Director General of NDRF, and with his assistance, we distribute essential supplies in many states to support communities in need.
➢ Flood Relief Initiatives by the NGO 1. Our NGO has been actively engaged in flood relief efforts in Bihar, particularly during significant flood events in recent years:
• 2020: In response to severe flooding that affected many districts in July and August, we provided emergency food supplies, medical assistance, and shelter to impacted communities.
• 2019: During the major flooding in July, our team mobilized quickly to deliver essential resources and support to thousands of displaced families.
• 2017: Following the significant floods in August, we worked tirelessly to assist affected individuals, focusing on rehabilitation and recovery efforts.
2. Our NGO has been actively involved in flood relief efforts in Assam, particularly during significant flood events in recent years:
• 2020: In July, severe flooding impacted over 4 million people across the state. We provided emergency food supplies, medical assistance, and shelter to affected communities.
• 2019: Following the flooding that began in early July, our team responded swiftly to the crisis, assisting over 1.1 million displaced individuals by delivering essential resources and support.
• 2012: During the significant floods in June, which affected multiple districts, we mobilized our efforts to provide relief and aid to those in need.
• Community Kitchens:
-> Established kitchens in RK Puram, Delhi, serving over 12,000 people daily during the first phase of COVID-19.
• Oxygen Cylinder Distribution during COVID-19
-> During the COVID-19 pandemic, we provided oxygen cylinders to individuals and healthcare facilities in need, ensuring timely access to life-saving respiratory support for those affected by severe symptoms.
• Fire and Cyclone Relief:
-> Coordinated shelter and distributed daily necessities, health, and sanitary items to victims in Delhi, West Bengal, and Odisha.
-> We provided essential support to affected communities during the 2021 fires in Okhla and Jamia Nagar, assisting individuals and families by delivering food, medicines, clothes, and other forms of aid to help them navigate the challenges posed by the disaster. We provide assistance to individuals in need by supplying carts to help them start their own businesses, promoting sustainable livelihoods and contributing to community development.
• We facilitated the admission of 753 people to hospitals during the COVID-19 pandemic and covered the cost of their medicines.
• During the COVID-19 pandemic
-> we provided transport services to people traveling from Delhi to various states, including Bihar, Chhattisgarh, and Uttar Pradesh, ensuring safe and reliable transportation for those in need.
-> During the COVID-19 pandemic, we supplied 10 lakh water bottles to support communities in need and ensure access to safe drinking water across Delhi NCR, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, and other regions.
-> During the COVID-19 pandemic, we organized Zoom and Google Meet sessions that brought together participants from different cities, states, and countries, including bureaucrats, Deputy Commissioners (DCP), District Magistrates (DM), and other attendees to discuss important issues and share insights.
Recent Developments
• Currently, there has been a flood in the Kosi region, and our NGO has deployed a team to provide food, medical kits, and other essential supplies to those affected.
